What drives Pat?
Pat feels it is essential to not just focus on your business only, but look at your whole family situation, to ensure not only is your business going well, but are your investment plans and goals being worked on, are you protecting the family with the relevant structure, insurance covers and updated wills. Being in business can be a stressful situation, so it needs to show how it is supportive to better life at home with family and towards a better financial future.
Expertise
Pat has a family with kids, is a home owner, has investment properties, has a SMSF, is a business owner, and manages his business in areas of financials, marketing, invoicing, monthly & yearly targets, future strategy, projects and workflow. It’s his experience in these areas that helps him give advice to his business clients.
Pat is a member of Certified Practicing Accountants (CPA) after previously completing his Bachelor of Business in Accountancy at RMIT, Melbourne. Pat returned to Account(able) Accountants in 2011 to become Director, after previously working at Account(able) for four years in the early 2000s.
Away from work
Personally, Pat has two secondary school age kids, that he enjoys supporting their school, sporting and personal activities. Pat is supportive of community groups and is an active committee member of Geelong West Juniors football club, as well as a junior football coach. He is a strong believer of work-life balance, and away from the office enjoys spending time with his family, and friends, keeping fit, surfing, mountain bike riding, practicing yoga, and taking camping holidays.
